Ittefaq Group wins Kasur Bar elections


KASUR - Ch Muhammad Saeed has become the president of the District Bar Association by securing 442 votes against his rival Liaqat Ali Dogar, who secured 314 votes in the bar elections held on Saturday. Khalid Iftikhar was elected vice president by securing 432 votes against his opponent Imran Nazir who got 301 votes.
Khalid Latif got 434 votes to win the slot of general secretary against his rival Adnan Jamshaid Khokhar who secured 310 votes. In Pattoki Bar Elections, Mian Kaleem got 192 voes, javid Iqbal secured 193 while Mudassar Naeem bagged 206 votes and were elected as president, vice president and general secretary respectively.
Malik Rasheed Ahmed, Mia Mudassar and Muhammad Iqbal were elected as president, vice president and general secretary respectively by securing 135, 147 and 174 votes.
