LAHORE - PTI Chairman Imran Khan, expressing concern over the Khyber Pakhtunkhawa government’s indifferent attitude towards the Aitzaz Hassan incident in Hangu, has announced the party will cater to the needs of the family of the young martyr.

Talking to media people on Sunday after condoling with party leader Neelam Ashraf over the tragic murder of her son at her residence, Imran said, “The uncaring behaviour of the Khyber Pakhtunkhawa government regarding the young martyr’s family had shocked him and his party would cater to the needs of Aitzaz’s family.”

He said the quality of police work was deteriorating by each passing day and crimes were surging in the largest province as recruitments in Punjab police were not being made on merit.  Imran asked the Punjab chief minister to take serious notice of the murder of Neelam Ashraf’s son and direct the police to nab the culprits at the earliest.

The PTI chairman said that Khyber Pakhtunkhawa was the only worst terror-hit province, but the Punjab government, without any serious threat, had failed to maintain law and order.

Imran said that blockade of Nato supply line would continue till the US administration promised to halt drone attacks. Replying to a query, he said the US had not contacted them directly or indirectly to end the blockade.
