PESHAWAR - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) have formed an alliance to contest local bodies (LB) elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
A delegation of both the parties met here at KP Assembly speaker’s house on Monday and decided to nominate joint candidates in LB polls. Both the coalition partners in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government also decided to hold LB elections in last week of May this year.
