Six sweep house of ex-CJP’s brother

Multan : At least six unidentified armed dacoits robbed the house of Salah Uddin Jillani, brother of former Chief Justice of Pakistan Tassaduq Jillani, and made off with cash, jewellery, valuables and two guns worth millions here on Monday. The Kotwali Police confirmed the incident and said that six armed dacoits riding two cars broke into the house of Salah Uddin Jillani and held all the inmates and guards hostage at gunpoint.
The dacoits ransacked the house and looted prize bonds worth Rs1 million, gold jewellery weighing 16 tola, a diamond ring worth Rs3.5 million and two guns of the security guards. Police officials rushed to the spot after learning about the incident. Investigation was underway till filing of this report.
