LAHORE: Organizer of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab and former Governor of the province, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has rebuffed the rumours regarding quitting the party.

In a clarification statement issued today, Chaudhry Sarwar said that rumors circulating in a section of media that he has left PTI over differences with the party leadership were baseless.

He clarified, “I am still in PTI and will not leave party as it is the only pure Democratic Party where the decisions are taken after the conciliation.”

Ch. Sarwar said that PTI is only hope for people of Pakistan and now it has been among the major political parties of the country. “It is honor for me to work under the leadership of chairman PTI Imran Khan,” he added.

While talking about upcoming general elections of 2018, he claimed that PTI will win majority of seats in National Assembly and Imran Khan will take oath as Prime Minister of Pakistan.

“PTI team is working for the betterment of Pakistan under the captaincy of Imran Khan and soon Pakistani nation will see Naya Pakistan,” he concluded.
