LODHRAN - Interest-free loans worth Rs1,175,000 were provided to skilled women for making them financially stable here on Tuesday.
Under the Annual Development programme organized by Punjab Small Industries Corporation, the loans were provided for the women who got training from Artisan of Bahawalnagar and Cholistan Centres. Each woman was provided with a cheque 25,000 rupees to start own business. These cheques were distributed by Regional Director Small Industries Corporation Jahanzeb Niazi and Project Incharge Quratul Ain.
The regional director said that another scheme of loan has been introduced according to which loans between Rs50,000 to RS200,000 without interest will be provided and forms for attaining the loan can be acquired from Punjab Small Industries Corporation’s district offices for free.
