Chinese diplomats visit Punjab Safe Cities Authority

Lahore (PR) - Flanked by Consul General Long Ding Bin, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing led his delegation to Punjab Safe Cities Authority at Qurban Lines in Lahore Friday.

According to a press release, MD Malik Ali Amir and COO Akbar Nasir Khan welcomed the visiting dignitaries and briefed them about the working of the authority. Akbar Nasir Khan told the visitors that the project was part of CM's vision of ‘Digital Punjab’.

The ambassador praised the project. In the visitors book, he noted, “A great project that demonstrates the vision, ambition and leadership of the Punjab Province - a great project that demonstrates the cooperation, friendship and collaboration between China and Pakistan. This high-tech joint venture between government of Punjab and Punjab Police is uniquely impressive.

“I extend full support of Chinese government and Chinese Companies from the private sector for all such excellent projects that are no less than any of those, in any way, in place in China. PSCA's IC3 project as an inevitable and imitable venture for mega urban cities such as Lahore.”

MD Malik Amir reiterated his authority’s resolve to ensure protection to people. The delegation was presented souvenirs by the PSCA management.
