BUREWALA/SAMBRIAL/OKARA-A 16-year-old girl has gone missing in Burewala for almost three weeks, three women were abducted in Okara and a teenage girl was kidnapped by four people in Sambrial on Friday.

The Burewala-based girl went missing 18 days. Rakia, a resident of Chak 497/EB, reported to the police that her daughter Aqsa on 24-12-2017 went to the fields to get fodders for the cattle head but did not return. Some peoples of the area said that she had been abducted by unknown car riders. She reported the matter to the Burewala Saddr Police which registered an abduction case against the unknown car riders Under Section 365/B.

The Sambrial-based teenage girl was kidnapped by four accused, according to an FIR lodged with Model Police Station Sambrial. Ali along with three un-identified persons allegedly kidnapped Fazalur Rehman's 18 years old daughter from his village Warsalkay.

Meanwhile, Airport Police recovered 100 liter liquor from Shahbaz Masih, a resident of Mangu Bahrram, during frisking of his van. The police raided his van on secret information provided by their informer while the accused managed to run away from the scene.

DSP Waqar Azeem advised the policemen at Model Police Station Sambrial to perform their duties with dedication, honesty and vigilance. He urged them to root out crimes from the area. He further said that prime responsibility of Police is to maintain peace and provide safety to the masses.

In Okara, three women including a teenager were abducted in separate areas. A 15 years old girl was abducted by a woman and her four male accomplices. Muqaddas Bibi of Johar Town was present at home when their relative Bashiran Bibi came and took her to city. At Suchanwala stop, Arif Ali, Sadi Ahmad and their two armed accomplices met and abducted the girl. A case was registered in the PS Sadr Okara.

In another incident, Kariman Bibi of Sakhi Saidan Colony was present home in the morning when 3 unknown armed men entered the house and abducted her on gunpoint.

IN village Behlolpur, Noshat Bibi was alone at home when Amjad, Sarfraz, Waseem Ashran Bibi entered the house and abducted the girl at gunpoint.

Minor assaulted in Fortabbas

BAHAWALNAGAR-A seven-year-old child was sexually assaulted by unidentified accused in the remit of Fortabbas Police here on Friday. According to police sources, the child identified as seven-year-old Ahmad, son of Nadeem, was playing in front of his house. In the meanwhile an unidentified accused took him to some deserted place where he sexually assaulted the minor. The minor informed his parents about incident and father of the child lodged a complaint with the Fortabbas Police. The police registered a case under section 377 and started search for the accused. On the other hand, the incident spread panic in the area and locals expressed fear at the alarming rise in the number of incidents of child abuse. They demanded the law enforcement agencies to revisit their strategy and devise a foolproof plan to check the crime against children.

Bid to rape 7-year-old girl foiled

FAISALABAD (INP): The citizens foiled an attempt to rape a seven-year-old girl and held the accused who was later handed over to police heir on Friday. Police said that an accused attempted to sexually abuse a 7-year old girl in the jurisdiction of Factory Area Police. Hearing to screams of the girl, people gathered at the scene, caught the culprit and rescued the girl. The girl was taken into protective custody. The police registered a case against the accused and put him behind the bars.
