The PML-N has threatened to quit the ruling coalition on the issue of the military operation in NWFP and other issues. These threats have come time and time again. Why can't the PML-N finally make up its mind and stop buying time? It is obvious that the PPP and PML-N will not be able to work together and a situation will soon arise when we will revisit the era of 1988-1999. The blame game will start once again. The coalition since its very inception was on a very weak footing. Promises made by both parties to the masses have not been fulfilled at all. The country is going into chaos and economic upheaval and this shows they cannot do effective governance as a coalition. -ZULFIKAR SAEED, Islamabad, via e-mail, July 1
