Degrees of 12 MPs found fake

ISLAMABAD, LAHORE (ONLINE)- Degrees of 12 members of the National and Provincial Assemblies including PML-Ns MNA from Lahore, Haji Malik Riaz have been found fake which was acquired from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir University while President, Prime Minister of AJK and Vice Chancellor of Muzaffarabad University were also trying to save PML-N MNA. According to details, Haji Malik Riaz Hussain has refuted to handover the degree to HEC and has got a stay order from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir High Court in this regard. Reliable sources told Online that Haji Malik Riaz was elected from NA-118 on the ticket of PML-N while his opponent contestant Syed Asif Hashmi had presented a petition regarding his fake degree to the returning officer at the time submitting documents but no attention was paid. It is learnt that Haji Malik Riaz had appeared in the exams of BA from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir University in 2005 but got supple later on as he appeared in the supple examination in 2006 but the handwriting, his photograph and signatures were totally different that of 2005. In this regard when controller examination had informed about this issue, President AJK Raja Zulqarnain not only removed him but also declared his degree original and valid after an informal inquiry. The HEC when asked for submitting degrees to send for verification from the concerned universities, PML-N MNA got stay order by using his links of AJK President and Prime Minister. The sources further said that other 12 to 13 members of PML-N including Muhammad Aslam, Muhammad Sajid Khan, Iftikhar Ahmed Khan, Muhammad Riaz, Javed Latif, Raja Salim Khan and several others have acquired fake degrees from AJK universities.
