ISLAMABAD (NNI) - The Foreign Office spokesman Monday expressed the hope that the meeting between Pakistan and India would help move the process forward allowing the two countries to resolve the issues of mutual concern and to promote cooperation in South Asia. He said, We are approaching the meeting with a positive mindset. Referring the upcoming meeting of Indian External Affairs Minister SM Krishna with Shah Mehmood Qureshi scheduled on Thursday, Abdul Basit said both sides realised the need to move forward, as they would gain nothing by shying away from dialogue. He said the realisation would help two countries to proceed forward and accommodate each others concerns. Regarding the Kashmir dispute, the spokesman said, We are concern at the worsening human rights violations in the occupied territory. Reiterating solidarity with the Kashmiris, he said Pakistan would continue to extend full diplomatic and moral support to their legitimate cause and struggle for self-determination.
