ISLAMABAD Shah Hussain Shah claimed bronze medal in the JIKJI Cup International Junior Judo Tournament that concluded in Cheongju, South Korea, said an official of Pakistan Judo Federation (PJF) here on Monday. According to PJF, 164 Under-20 players from 25 countries contested for medals in seven mens and seven womens disciplines in the different weight categories. Shah Hussain Shah, who is son of former Olympian boxer Hussain Shah, got bronze medal in the competitions by defeating the Judoka of Germany and Chinese Taipei in -100 Kg weight category. He lost his fight against Korean Judoka in semi-final. In the event, Korea got 1st place by wining six gold, five silver and eight bronze medals while Japan placed at second spot with five gold, four silver and eight bronze medals. Pakistan, USA and Czech Republic got 7 positions by wining 1 bronze medal each.
