LAHORE - Two people succumbed to injuries in various road accidents in the provincial capital on Monday, police said. Police investigators said a 25-year-old youth was crushed to death in Chung police precincts when a speeding car hit him. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where the doctors pronounced him dead. The driver of the car however fled the scene. Police have registered an FIR against unidentified accused with no arrest so far. Meanwhile, an uncontrolled truck crushed one Munawar to death at Kot Abdul Malik locality in Factory Area. Reportedly, a case has been registered against the truck driver with no arrest till filing of this report.
