Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that the Sindh, Punjab water distribution issue would be resolved with mutual consultation. Gilani chaired a high profile meeting held to review the row between Sindh and Punjab over reopening of Chashma-Jhelum Link Canal (CJLC) on Tuesday. Gilani said like a unanimous NFC award and 18th amendment, the water row would also be resolved. He said that only the policy of reconciliation would help boost democracy in the country. It is pertinent to note that Federal member of Indus River System Authority (IRSA) and member from Sindh have resigned following the opening of the Chasma-Jhelum Link Canal.
