LAHORE - District and Sessions Judge on Friday directed the witnesses of a private complaint against ex-MPA Shumaila Rana accused of having fake and bogus degree, to appear before the court and adjourned further hearing till July 20th.Election Commission had filed an application before the district court and submitted that Shumaila Rana, ex-MPA violated public representation Act 1976 as well as Article 63 of the Constitution. She did not pass graduation and got a fake degree.  The complainant said such people did not deserve to be members of any legislative assembly. They requested the court to punish her in accordance with the law.  However, the court adjourned the hearing till July 20th, and directed the witnesses of the private complaint to appear before court on next date of hearing. Meanwhile, the cases against Shahnaz Begum and Rana Asif were also adjourned till July 20th and the same directions were given as in case above.  In private complaint against both Begum Shahnaz and Rana Asif, it was prayed before the court that all perks and privileges, they both enjoyed as member of assembly, should be paid back to the State.
