Lahore- Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed grief over Gaza situation saying that the visuals from Gaza are heart-wrenching. He strongly criticized Israel s barbarism and termed the strikes as "totally unacceptable".

In a statement, condemning the attacks, CM Punjab said that it was a clear violation of the human rights guaranteed by the United Nations charter. He said that Pakistan stands by its Muslim brethren in Palestine who are "facing inhuman treatment".

Shehbaz Sharif assured the Palestinians that Pakistan will support their cause. He said that Pakistanis support an independent Palestinian state which is the due right of the people living there.

He prayed for the safety of Gaza people. According to the reports, air attacks continue to plunder the Palestinians in Gaza as the death toll has already crossed 150. Local officials claim that the latest strikes have hit Hamas leaders  houses in Gaza and some mosques as well.
