MULTAN-The district government has nominated different administrative officers and Assistant Commissioners as in-charge of state run hospitals to ensure availability of medicines and other facilities. The district government sources said that the officers will carry out inspection of the hospitals on daily basis and submit report at DCO office. According to details, Assistant Commissioner City Farooq Dogar will look after the affairs of Shahbaz Sharif General Hospital, District Monitoring Officer Syed Amna Children Complex Hospital, AC Saddr Fatima Jinnah Gynaecology Hospital.
The officers carried out surprise visits of the above mentioned hospitals on Tuesday and checked availability of medicines, equipment, machinery, generator, air conditioning system and other administrative affairs. Sources said that the administrative officers also talked to the patients and heard their complaints. Later on, they briefed the DCO on the state of affairs.
