Burhan Wani eulogised at funeral in absentia

MIPRUR (AJK)-People in various parts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) offered funeral in absentia for over 30 recently-martyred Kashmiris including young Kashmiri freedom fighter Burhan Muzaffar Wani.
In Mirpur, funeral in absentia for the martyred Kashmiri freedom fighter Burhan Wani was offered at Shaheed Chowk in which hundreds of people belonging to different walks of life participated.
The funeral in absentia was managed by renowned Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) leader Khawaja Muhammad Ayaz. Prominent icons of civil society from all walks of life including Maulana Mufti Rowais Khan Ayubi, Maulana Atiqur Rehman and Dr Riaz Ahmed, central leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami AJK, Sajaad Bhai, District Ameer Jamaatud Dawa (JuD) AJK Chapter, Khawaja Bashir Ahmed Shagoo, Khawaja Munir Ahmed, PML-N president for LA-III and others offered the funeral.
The participants prayed for the rest of the departed soul in eternal peace and grant of fortitude to the bereaved families of the Kashmiri martyrs.
Earlier, paying rich tributes to Burhan Wani, speakers said that the martyred young commander has infused a new spirit in Kashmiris’ indigenous struggle for freedom of their motherland from Indian occupation by sacrificing his life.
“Kashmir’s freedom struggle against the Indian occupation will continue until a single Kashmiri is alive,” they vowed, adding that India have to accept Kashmiris’ right to self-determination which has also been committed by the international community through the UN resolution.
The speakers condemned the fresh wave of state violence and terrorism unleashed by the Indian occupational forces against the innocent people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir. They called on the international community to play its due role to get the Indian state terrorism stopped in the occupied state to save Kashmiris from history’s worst and gruesome killings at the hands of Indian forces.
