LAHORE - Terming it a serious violation of human rights, the Civil Society Network Pakistan yesterday condemned the brutal killing of innocent Kashmiris in the occupied valley and called upon the human rights bodies to play their role to end this genocide by the Indian forces.

“The world community, the UN and human rights organizations must take notice of human rights violations in the Indian held Kashmir”, said a statement issued by the civil society.

It also demanded peaceful solution of Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN resolutions. Civil Society Network President Abdullah Malik said that more than seven hundred thousand forces deployed in the occupied Kashmir since long couldn’t silence the voice of self-actualization of Kashmiri people. Kashmiris have been murdered and disrespected but they kept alive the independence movement, he added.

Meanwhile, the All Pakistan Workers Confederation took out a rally to condemn  Indian atrocity in Kashmir. the protesters raised the demand for early resolution of the issue.
