BODIES REMAIN UNTRACED: The divers of Rescue 1122 continued their search operation in BRB Canal Daska for the third consecutive day to search the bodies of two drowned young sisters Sonia and Mafia.

The bodies were not yet found from Daska BRB Canal despite the passage of three days of the tragedy. Daska city based sisters had drowned while bathing.

The grieved family has urged the government to adopt extra measures including the closure of water in the canal for the purpose.

The Rescue 1122 officials said that the divers have expanded the search operation in the canal from Daska city to nearby rural areas with boats. They said that the fast flow of canalwater was creating hurdles in the search.

Meanwhile, action by district administration and police against canal bathing remained limited only to display the awareness- banners at the bridges and the banks of the rivers and canals, advising the people not the swim, bath or celebrate picnic there.
