LAHORE - Pakistan Awami Tehreek delegation will participate in opposition meeting on ToRs formation on July 19 and host its next session on July 31 at PAT head office Lahore.

This was announced by PAT chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri at a press conference in Model Town yesterday.

He said the opposition parties would announce next strategy after grand meeting. He said PAT had made contacts with PPP’s Khurished Shah, PTI’s Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Awami Muslim League’s Sheikh Rasheed,  JI head Sirajul Haq and Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen head Raja Nasir Abbas and invited them in the meeting while the contacts with other parties were being made also. He said the unity among opposition parties was a welcome step and the days of the “corrupt government” had been numbered.

“It is appreciating that the parties who were with government in 2014 are now against it,” he said.

Dr Qadri said he was going London to attend two meetings in Glasgow and Scotland and will be back in Pakistan before July 31.

“News about London plan are just numerous and made by our opponents. There is no need to make plans in London,” he said, adding his stay in the country will be long.

He reiterated his stance on Model Town incident, saying his party would never bargain with the killers of innocent party workers.

PAT chairman alleged that prime minister visited London to have hair transplant rather to have heart treatment.

He alleged the Punjab government sent police cops in India for treatment which was beyond to understand. What kind of treatment our police cops were getting in India, he questioned.

“India is committing worst kind of atrocities on people of Kashmir while Sharifs are leaving no stone unturned to promote friendship with Indian prime minister Modi,” he said and condemned the Indian brutalities in  occupied Kashmir.

PAT chairman paid glowing tribute to the service of Late Edhi for humanity and said he (Edhi) was a real proud of Pakistan.
