Islamabad - Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has asked the government to discuss the massacre and bloodbath carried out by Indian forces in Indian Held Kashmir (IHK) in the upcoming National Assembly session.

This bloodbath carried out by Indian forces has resulted in the death of more than 32 innocent Kashmiris while hundreds of others got injured.

“Such blatant use of force in IHK is intolerable and unbearable as it is not only a violation of international laws but is also a sheer negation of basic human rights of Kashmiris,” said PPP MNAs in an adjournment motion submitted in the National Assembly Secretariat to discuss this issue.

The PPP members in their motion further said that this continuous offensive attitude of Indian forces can not deter the people of Jammu and Kashmir from their demand for the realisation of the right to self-determination.

“This is a serious issue and requires immediate discussion on the floor of the house so that a concrete strategy may be devised in this regard,” said PPP’s MNAs.

The adjournment motion was submitted by Shazia Mari, Azra Fazal, Nafisa Shah, Imran Laghari, Beelum Husnain and Noman Islam.
