ISLAMABAD: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice (Retd) Sardar Raza has sought security from Interior Ministry in the face of life threats. As per reports, CEC had written an application to Civil Armed Forces (CAF) on Thursday in which he took the stance that he was facing life threats, therefore, he should be provided FC and police contingents. “Receiving life threats since long and these threats have been increased after Peshawar attack,” he added.  The application was filed in Civil Armed Forces Wing on behalf of EC and his staff officer himself brought that application to Ministry of Interior.–Online
