At least three soldiers were killed and four injured on Monday in a roadside bomb attack in Ladha area of South Waziristan. A security official said that the soldiers of 56-Punjab Regiment were patrolling the area when their vehicle was hit by a bomb planted on the road. 'Three soldiers were killed in the attack and four others were injured,' an official said on condition of anonymity. Dozens of militants attacked a security forces post last week and killed eight soldiers in the Makeen area of the district. Twelve rebels were also killed in the fighting after the raid.
