Tameer-i-Seerat student wins quiz contest

TARBELA GHAZI A special ceremony was held at Tameer-e-Seerat School Ghazi in connection with awarding prize to a student who won 'UBL Ist Account Quiz, the other day. According to details, Shahzeb Khan, a student of 9th class in Tameer-e-Seerat School Ghazi won the 'UBL Ist Account Quiz prize, which was awarded to him in a special ceremony at the school. UBL has started an online quiz programme aimed at improving mental level of children in information technology, other fields and create awareness among them regarding savings. Shahzeb Khan, son of Muhammad Zada, a student of 9th class in Tameer-e-Seerat School, Ghazi, was one of the thousands of children who participated in the quiz programme. He secured first position in the competition. A special award presentation ceremony was held in Tamer-Seerat School Ghazi in his honour. Vice President UBL and District Sales Manager Wah Cantt region Mumtaz Khan Mughal attended the ceremony as chief guest. He gave away prize to the student in the presence of his parents, teachers, students, UBL officials and other people in a large number. At the occasion, Mumtaz Khan Mughal, Manager UBL Ghazi Branch Syed Ishfaq Shah and DCM Khalid Mehmood said it was the time of information technology and it was a dire need of the day to equip youths with modern education. They said the youths had great potential to bring the country at par with the other developed nations of the world. They added that the need was to motivate and persuade the young generation to play their due role for progress and prosperity of the country. They said UBL was stepping forward on the way to support and appreciate the youths and children in different ways for the best utilisation and exposure of their abilities.
