LAHORE A 24-year-old worker of Tandoor, youngest among seven sisters and brothers, was stabbed to death by unidentified accused in Baghbanpura police precincts on Sunday. Police investigators said the deceased identified as Muhammad Rasheed, a resident of Tibba Fort Khazana, after taking meal went outside of his home here on Saturday night. His nephew Muhammad Qasim also left the home to meet his friends but he found the body of maternal uncle lying a few yards away from the home, they added. According to family, his jugular vein was cut by sharp edge weapon. SHO Baghbanpura Hafiz Noeman claimed the deceased had nothing to do with anyone of the locality so it seemed a blind murder but something final would be established after thoroughly investigating the incident. A case under section 302 of PPC has been lodged against unknown criminals on the statement of Fareed, brother of the deceased, with no arrest so far. Further investigations are underway. Man found dead: A 45-year-old man found dead under mysterious circumstances in Chung police area on Sunday. Police say some locals informed police about a body of a person, yet to be identified was lying on Multan Road. Apparently he seemed a drug addict and the chief reason of his death also seems excessive usage of drugs but we are investigating the case by all aspects, an on duty police officer said. The body was removed to morgue for autopsy.
