LAHORE - A man to savaging the mother-of-four to conceal the killing of her elder sister.
Police said that the killer, identified as Tanvir, had murdered his maternal cousin Rukhsana Bibi, two years ago. The resident of Jhugian village, Tanvir, abducted his cousin and took her to the fields, where he strangled her to death and escaped after throwing her body in the canal.
As Farzana Bibi came to know about the murder of her sister, Rukhsana, she immediately contacted her brother by phone and disclosed to him that Tanvir had killed their sister.
In the meantime, the killer also came to know that the resident of Sheikhupura, Farzana, was all set to reveal the murder of Rukhsana to the police. Tanvir also abducted Farzana and took her to the fields, where he strangulated her to death. The police have arrested the killer and removed the body to the morgue for autopsy. Further investigation is underway.
Two die in road Accidents
Two people were killed in accidents in different parts of the City, police said on Wednesday.
An unidentified cyclist was crushed to death under a train in the Shahdara Town area. Police said that the man, unidentified so far, was crossing the railway line when his two-wheeler stuck in the track. As a result, the man was crushed to death under a train. The police are investigating.
In another incident, a 30-year-old man was killed by a rashly-driven van in the Johar Town Area. Police said that the man, unidentified so far, was crossing the road near the roundabout when a recklessly driven van ran over him, resulting in his on-the-spot death. The driver along with the van escaped from the crime scene instantly. The police are investigating.
Two unidentified men were found dead from the Bhatti gate and Shalimar police areas respectively on Wednesday.
 The bodies were removed to the morgue for autopsy.
 Police said that both the men apparently were drug addict. Further investigation is underway.
