The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) foiled a smuggling bid by recovering 96 heroin-filled capsules from the stomach of a Jeddah-bound passenger at Benazir Bhutto Islamabad International Airport, ANF spokesman said on Wednesday.
According to details, ANF intercepted a passenger namely Muhammad Ramzan son of Nazeer Ahmad, resident of Chichawatni, district Sahiwal on suspicion.
Later, the passenger was referred to hospital for delivery of heroin-filled capsules, where 96 heroin filled capsules have been recovered. He was schedule to fly by PIA flight No PK 741from Islamabad to Jaddha, Saudi Arabia, the spokesman added.–STAFF REPORTER
