Islamabad- The National Assembly maintained its record of initiating the proceedings late from its scheduled time and the budget session also started almost one hour late.

It was also for the first time for this 14th National Assembly that members, mostly newcomers, faced difficulty in finding their new seats. In the maiden session of the National Assembly, the members were seated in order of Urdu alphabetic order except the main leaders of all the parties who were allowed to sit in the front row.

On all the three days starting from oath-taking by the members, election of speaker and deputy speaker, and Leader of the House, the proceedings started several hours late from its scheduled time and budget session was no exception.
