President welcomes new envoys

Islamabad - Envoys-designate of Algeria, Maldives, Brunei Darussalam and Croatia, presented their credentials to President Mamnoon Hussain at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Friday. They called on the President separately and discussed bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest. The president felicitated the newly appointed envoys to Pakistan and expresse d hope that they would work for further cementing the existing ties of their respective countries with Pakistan.
Earlier, upon arrival of Lakhal Benkelai, Ambassador-designate of Algeria, Ahmed Saleem, High Commissioner-designate of Maldives, Brigadier General (Retd) Dato Paduka Haji Mahmud bin Haji Saidin, High Commissioner-designate of Brunei Darussalam, and Stribor Kikerec, Ambassador-designate of Croatia (Resident in Tehran) at the Presidency, the national anthem of Pakistan and their respective countries were played and the envoys designate were also presented Guard of Honour by an elegant contingent of Pakistan Army.
