LAHORE: Punjab government has allocated Rs 85 billion for Road Sector in the Annual Development Programme in the budget for fiscal year 2016-17.
According to the budget documents, the major portion of the allocation will be utilized for completion of 610 on-going schemes, projects pertaining to Khadim-e-Punjab Rural Road Programme Phase III and Phase IV and up-gradation of Road Research and Material Testing Institute and Building Research Station.
