Prime Minister Justice (R) Nasir-ul-Mulk has chaired a meeting of the caretaker Federal Cabinet at Prime Minister’s Office on Wednesday.

In order to ensure free, fair and transparent elections in the country, the Federal Cabinet, in consultation with the Election Commission of Pakistan and the respective provincial governments, has approved posting of new Chief Secretaries and IG Police/PPOs;

Mr. Akbar Hussain Durrani has been appointed as Chief Secretary in Punjab, Mr. Azam Suleman Khan in Sindh, Mr. Naveed Kamran Baloch in KP, Mr. Akhtar Nazeer in Balochistan.

Dr. Kaleem Imam has been appointed as Inspector General of Police (IGP) in Punjab, Mr. Amjad Javed Saleemi in Sindh, Mr. Mohammad Tahir in KP and Mr. Mohsin Hasan Butt in Balochistan.
