Pen and inkpot has emerged victorious in the constituency of Rawalpindi today. Justice Qazi Faez Isa is respectable for me. I thank the people particularly overseas Pakistanis who prayed for me.

“ Had SC decision come against me I would have accepted it too because I am neither Nawaz Sharif nor I am by product of GHQ, he held.  I want Imran Khan led government this time in the country because he is a good person”, Sheikh Rashid remarked.

A PML-N leader and former MNA Shakil Awan had filed petition seeking Sheikh Rashid disqualification.

He had taken the plea Sheikh Rashid concealed the assets in general election-2013 and he gave wrong statement before Election Commission, therefore, he should be de-seated.
