The Punjab government announced on Sunday to unveil its provincial budget for fiscal year 2021-22 of Rs 2400 billion on June 14. 

It is pertinent to be stated here that the Punjab Finance Minister Hashim Jawan Bakht will present the budget.

As per the issued details, a special package for industries and a number of public welfare schemes will be announced in the budget.

He said provision of Health Sahulat Cards will be ensured to 100 percent of the population by December this year.

In addition, the government also plans to set aside 560 billion rupees for the developmental projects whereas it ensures to provide 10 percent rise in salaries and pensions of the government employees.
