KPK caretaker CM to be finalised by tomorrow: Hoti

PESHAWAR - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti has said that 90 per cent of work has been completed on the issue of caretaker chief minister of the province, adding that consensus has been developed with opposition leader in the provincial assembly on two names for the slot, and in a next couple of days final decision will be made.
He expressed these views while talking to media persons after the second round of consultation on the subject with opposition leader Akram Khan Durrani in Peshawar on Tuesday. Opposition leader, Akram Khan Durrani was also present on the occasion. The Chief Minister said that the second session of consultation was very fruitful and positive as consensus was developed on two names out of a number of names for the position. The name finally decided for Chief Minister ship out of these two names will be acceptable to all other political parties and the public as Well; and his credibility and impartiality will be not be questioned by any one; maintained the Chief Minister. Responding to a question, opposition leader Akram Khan Durrani said that the issue was very important and of sensitive nature and that’s why we are very carefully and tactfully proceed keeping in view the prevailing situation of the province adding that we are trying to make a better decision. As the tradition of the province we will be the first to announce the name of a care taker chief minister said the opposition leader. To a question regarding he care taker minister the Chief Minister said that it was totally up to the care taker to constitute his cabinet.
Meanwhile,  Speaker, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Kiramatullah Khan Tuesday paid a detailed visit to his electoral constituency PK-7 and besides inaugurating several development schemes announced the up-gradation of Government High School Regi to Higher Secondary level.
During the visit the speaker also reviewed pace of construction work on Regi Badizai and Malazai Road and also inaugurated a girls’ religious teaching institute. He also reviewed possibilities of other different development schemes and in-light of consultations issued directives to higher authorities. Kiramatullah Khan in his visit first inaugurated Girls’ Middle School in Ghazali Ghari, Regi and announced the establishment of girls’ high schools in Shahi, Regi villages of the constituency.
Addressing different functions during the visit, Speaker, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Kiramatullah Khan urged his political opponents to compare his performance with development scheme initiated during his period and also through going documentary record in this regard.
He said the present government has a credit of taking courageous stance on the matters of vital national interest and has won the hearts of the people. He said the Pak-Iran Gas Pipeline project will help arrest the energy crisis in the country.
On this occasion, notables of the area included Mehrab Gul, Fakhar-e-Alam, Nasrullah and Commander Lutf Ali thanked the speaker on the completion of flood protect project for the area.
