ISLAMABAD - A three-member Indian delegation led by senior BJP leader Vijay Jolly called on PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Zardari House Islamabad Saturday evening.

The Indian BJP delegation is in Islamabad to participate in the two-day workshop on human trafficking organised by the International Conference of Asian Political Parties.

The delegation Led by Vijay Jolly and members included Vijay Mehta and Lubna Asif.

Talking to the delegation, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari emphasised people to people contacts between the two countries. Former prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Senator Farhatullah Babar and Political Secretary to the Chairman PPP Jamil Soomro were also present in the meeting.

PPP sources told The Nation that Bilawal Bhutto would stay in the federal capital for next five days and during his visit he would also meet the Azad Jammu Kashmir PPP top leadership and will also give final approval of party tickets to candidates. The AJK leadership will also request to visit AJK and inaugurate the election campaign of PPP for upcoming AJK polls.

Sources further mentioned that Bilawal will also meet the delegations and ambassadors of different countries during his visit. They said that party chief will also discuss the country’s political situation and his visit to South Punjab in third week of this month.
