KHANEWAL: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif believes in action rather than mere speeches and it is the CM’s vision that helps the masses in Punjab get rid of the 150-year-old “Patwari Culture.” The land record of the people is made safe in a transparent manner by introducing computerised land record system.
Khanewal DCO Khalid Mehmood Sheikh stated at a seminar held here at Land Record Management and Information System (LRMIS) Centre the other day.
MNA Muhammad Khan Daha, MPA Nishat Ahmed Khan, former provincial minister Haji Irfan Ahmed Khan, District Press Club President Sajid Pervaiz, District Bar President Ch Saeed and representatives of all sections of society attended the seminar. The DCO informed that the centre would work from 8am to 8pm while a free call centre is working at the centre to address complaints.
AC Abid Hussain Bhatti stated that land record of 578 Mauzas is notified and Urban land record project would start working from June 30, 2016.–Staff Reporter
