LAHORE - The finals of the National Open Polo Championship 2016 for Quaid-e-Azam Gold Cup have been postponed due to inclement weather and now the same finals will be played on Wednesday (March 16) here at the Lahore Polo Club (LPC) ground. LPC secretary Col (r) Shoaib Aftab has informed that due to consecutive downpour in the city, it is not possible to organise the event today (Sunday), therefore, after consulting with captains of all the teams and umpires, it was finally decided that the finals of the premier polo event would now be played on Wednesday. The subsidiary final will be contested between Learning Alliance and Master Paints/Habib Metro on Wednesday while the final will be played between Diamond Paints and Dollar East/Master Paints at the same day and venue.
