'We are Displaced' Malala's new book to be available in September

A new book from Malala, We are Displaced, will be available for readers after September 4 this year.

Malala Yousufzai, an education activist for girls across the globe, said that book will show the real humanity behind the statistics.

“We hear about millions of refugees, hundreds of migrants trapped on a boat or in a truck, but it’s only when a truly shocking image appears in the news that people consider what’s really going on.”

She also said that through her book it would be easy for her to share the stories of those who had gone through the miseries of displacement. It could help others to understand and empathize the refugees in a better way.

The publisher for Malala’s new book is Weidenfeld & Nicolson.

Malala had won Noble Peace Prize in 2014. Her first book, I am Malala, has also remained best-selling memoir.

Net sales profit of the book will go the Malala funds which she had co-founded with her father for supporting girl’s education.
