Inter District U-19 cricket

LAHORE - In the Inter District Under-19 Cricket, West Zone Blues beat East Zone Blues and North Zone Blues defeated East Zone Whites while the match between North Zone Whites and West Zone Whites ended in a draw here at various venues of the city on Thursday. At LCCA ground, North Zone Blues were bowled out for147 against East Zone Whites. East Zone Whites got 100-run lead and enforced follow-on to North Zone Blues. In the second innings, Hussain Talat was top scorer for the North Zone Blues. At Model Town Greens ground, West Zone Blues declared their first innings at 307 for six wickets with Wahab Dar scoring 100 runs for West Zone Blues West Zone Blues got 147-run lead over East Zone Blues. East Zone Blues were bowled out for 174 in their second innings and set only 34 runs victory target. West Zone Blues chased the target after losing two wickets. Rohail Ali of West Zone Blues grabbed nine wickets and Maaz clinched eight wickets in the match. President West Zone Tauqir Shah and Secretary M Shoaib Dar distributed prizes among the best performers. At Aligarh cricket ground, West Zone Whites scored 184/4 at stumps and saved their match against North Zone Whites.
