LAHORE The Sunni Ittehad Councils clerics warned Punjab Government to launch a massive protest movement if it would not stop to occupy the plot, allocated to the Jamia Rizia, Faisalabad. The Sunni Ittehad Council leaders including Pir Syed Mehfooz Mashhadi, Pir Mohammad Athar ul Qadri, Mohammad Zia ul Haq Naqashbandi, Pir Syed Mohammad Ajmal Gilani, Sardar Mohammad Khan Laghari and others expressed their strong concerns over the issue while addressing a press conference at Lahore Press Club on Thursday. They said the plot, situated at Jhang Bazaar Faisalabad was allotted to the Jamia Rizvia Trust but now the government canceled the allotment and trying to occupy it. They alleged that the Punjab Government was doing revengeful activities against the Sunni Itihad just because they announced to contest separately in upcoming polls, parting ways with PML-N. They further alleged that Punjab Law Minister Rana Sana Ullah had 'special relations with terrorist outfits and they had continuously demanded his (Sana) removal. Rana Sana is at the helm to occupy the allocated plot, they said and added the government was fanning sectarianism with discriminatory attitude. They said workers of Sunni Itihad would spare no effort to protect the Jamia Rizvia.
