PESHAWAR  – The central leader of Awami National Party, Senator Haji Adeel has said that government was working on priority basis to bring the special persons into mainstream and remove their sense of deprivation so that they could become a valuable part of the society.
He expressed these views after inaugurating Rs 2 million Kitchen Block at the Institute for Blind Girls KP. DCO Peshawar, Siraj Ahmed Khan, officers of Social Welfare Department and Head of Blind Institute Miss Rubina were also present.
Senator Adeel said special persons were an important part of the society and we cannot overlook their crucial role in uplift of the nation. The provincial government, he said was utilizing all possible means to make special persons a useful asset of the society so that they could play their vital role in progress of the country.
Adeel said great responsibility lied upon the shoulders of the parents to immunize their children against polio.

 and especially in FATA the misperception against polio drops must be eliminated to save our future generation from becoming disabled.
Earlier, the Senator had a detailed visit of the institution and apprised himself about the problems being faced by the institute’s authorities. He also issued on-the-spot orders on some of the complaints and assured that government would leave no stone unturned for addressing the issues of special persons.
