SWAT – DIG, Malakand division, Akhtar Hayat Gandapur has said that police department has approved construction of three new police stations in the periphery of Mingora city in order to reduce crime rate to obstruct militant’s infiltration and for public safety and security.  
Akhtar Hayat Gandapur while briefing the media at his office the other day remarked “In view of the fact that the population of Mingora city has crossed figure of 400,000, three police stations were insufficient for the provision of safety and security to such a populated locality.”
The construction of additional three police stations in the suburbs of Mingora have been approved with the aim to minimise the crime rate and especially to block any infiltration of the insurgents into the main city.
“With the proposed police stations, the number of police stations in Mingora city will reach 6 and 20 in the entire district Swat,” DIG Malakand division elaborated. All these stations will come under the direct command of DSP city, he added.
Meanwhile, a decomposed body was found inside a sack in a house in the limits of Saidu Sharif Police Station here on Saturday.
Lodging an FIR of the incident with the Saidu Sharif police station, Irfan, brother of the victim said that, Fazal Subhan his brother had a quarrel with his spouse few days ago who left in disgust for her parents home and lived there while Fazal Subhan started living at his house all alone since then. “On Saturday, his neighbors visited me by informing that a stale odor is coming from the house of my brother,” Irfan went on saying. Upon this, he along with Fazal’s neighbors broke open the door of the house finding Fazal Subhan decompose body with his hands and feet tied in a sack, the bereaved brother continued. The body carried signs of torture, police added.
Meanwhile a rickshaw driver died in road mishap here in Amankot, an area of mingora city. According to police, Abdul Wadud was going up the ascent of Saidu Bypass in his rickshaw when the vehicle overturned leaving him critically wounded. He was rushed to Saidu Teaching Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, the tribesmen of Malagori tribe expressed confidence and supports over the Member of National Assembly (MNA) from NA-45 Noor-ul-Haq Qadri and said that record development projects had been completed in his tenure in Malagori, the far flung area of tehsil Jamrud.
The elders of Malagori tribe including Haji Manan, Haji Rahmat khan, Haji Nassem, Malik Fazle Maula flanked by dozens of local tribal while talking to media on Friday said that a news published last day in one of an English daily newspapers blaming the MNA for embezzlement was false and was based on null. A protest really had been staged by the local tribal against local administration was portrayed in the English newspaper against the MNA Qadri which was against the facts, Haji Manan remarked.
Since the creation of Pakistan the Malagori had been neglecting area but when the Qadri came to power, he had spent huge portion of his development funds so far in fields of education, health, roads and provision of potable water schemes etc. to facilitate the tribal of Malagori on their door steps on equal basis, Haji Naseem argued. They rejected criticism of handful elements who for their own due interest were indulged in defaming the MNA Noor-ul-haq and left no chance to damage his reputation. They specified that the tribesmen of Malagori would foil every male-design against their leader and would not let any one to create hurdles in his way while making development projects in the area.
