Three passengers were killed and 20 others injured when a passenger bus on Sunday fell into ravine here at Gandhian area.

Police said that passenger bus was on way from Lahore to Battagram, when near Gandhian on Shahrah-e-Karakoram the driver lost control over it while negotiating a sharp turn. The bus fell into ravine, resultantly three passengers were killed and 20 others wounded.

A large number of residents of the valley reached the scene and helped in rescue operation.

The injured were shifted to King Abdullah Hospital in Mansehra, whereas those in critical condition were shifted to Ayub Medical Complex Hospital Abbottabad.

Sources said that the bus had dropped off most passengers at an earlier stop, bringing the count on board down to 24 passengers. Doctors said that no injured was in critical condition.
