LAHORE – Capital City Police Officer Muhammad Aslam Tareen has suggested that it is essential to suppress the criminals even before they commit the crime in order to restore confidence of the people on the police force.
Stressing upon the need of Thana Culture reform, CCPO pointed out that atmosphere of police stations should be so pleasant and friendly that gentlemen should never feel any hesitation in coming to the police stations.  According to an official handout, Tareen stated this while addressing a ceremony here at CIA Police Model Town on Saturday, where he also distributed recovered valuables among the owners.
A police spokesperson claimed that CIA Police recovered stolen property Rs 2.4 million including Rs 1 million, three motorcycles, gold ornaments, cell phones, three wristwatches and other items.
The stolen valuables recovered from the robbers were handed over to the owners after fulfilling the legal procedure.
