LAHORE – The National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) N-5 Central Zone and Motorway M-2 & 3 Zone hosted a farewell party in honour of Inspector General (NH&MP) Wajid Ali Durrani, who will is scheduled to retire in the end of this month.
Durrani, during his 34-year career, served on many key posts, including that of Additional Inspector General (Sindh), Inspector General (Islamabad), Inspector General (Sindh) and Inspector General (NH&MP). He was awarded President Police Medal (1981) and Quaid-e-Azam Police Medal (1985) for his bravery and outstanding performance. Durrani is from the 5th Common, which makes him one of the most senior police officers at the time.
