RAWALPINDI – Allegedly involved in ephedrine quota case, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani’s son Ali Musa Gilani Saturday excused to appear before Anti-Narcotics Force’s investigation team.

Musa was due to record his statement with the ANF investigation team but he excused to do so. ANF sources said that Musa Gilani had submitted an application to ANF with the request to change the date of his appearance before the investigation officer due to some family issues.

He had requested to be allowed to appear before the investigator on May 14, which has been accepted. Sources said now Musa’s statement will be recorded on Monday (tomorrow). The ANF has been directed by the Supreme Court to conduct a transparent investigation into the ephedrine quota scandal.
