ISLAMABAD -Five-star Kaleemullah helped Khan Research Laborites (KRL) FC thrash Yeedzin FC 8-0 in the AFC President's Cup group B match played on Sunday.

Talking to The Nation on Sunday, KRL media manager Ali Zaidi said: “Kaleem was at his usual best, as his five goals were a treat to watch for the pack to capacity crowd. By scoring five goals, Kaleem also equaled the highest goal record set by Dordoi’s player Murzaev Mirlan who also scored five goals against the same opponents in the earlier match.

Kaleem scored the first goal through penalty in the fourth minute and second goal in the 15th minute before Abid added the third one in the 30th minute, then Zia scored the fourth in the 44th minute while the fifth one was converted by Saadullah in 46th minute. After that, it was totally a Kaleem’ show as he completed his hat-trick to give KRL a memorable victory.  With this convincing victory, KRL reached the final round, which will be held in September.
