Former federal minister for Kashmir affairs Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo as well as his son and a daughter have lost all the seats they contested in the general elections in Okara district.

Manzoor Wattoo contested in NA-146, NA-147 and PP-188 constituencies. In NA 147, he was defeated by Moaeen Ahmad Wattoo (PML-N) and in NA-146, by Rao Ajmal from the same party.

However, Manzoor Wattoo was also defeated in PP-188 by Muhammad Husain (N League) while his son Khurram Jehangir Wattoo, former MNA PPP, faced a defeat in PP- 193 where Mian Moaeen Ahmad Wattoo got victory. Beside, Manzoor’s daughter Jahan Araa Wattoo was defeated by Syed Raza Ali Gillani in PP-187. The one thing is very interesting that the Wattoo family lost all their seats by N League candidates.

In NA-92 Gojra, PML-N’s Khalid Javed Warraich won the seat by getting 90,915 votes and defeated independent candidate Osama Hamza, son of PML-N Senator M Hamza, who got 60,933 votes. In NA 93 Toba, PML-N’s Junaid Anwaar won with 118,165 votes. Defeated PTI’s candidate Muhammad Ashfaq got 95,874 votes.

In NA-94, PML-N’s Asadur Rehman won by getting 102,723 votes while defeated independent Riaz Fatyana who got 65,378 and PPP’s Pir Ali Baba remained on third position with 64,168 votes. In PP-84, National Muslim League’s Bilal Warraich won with 36,405 votes.

Independent candidate Asad Zaman Cheema remained second with 22,072 votes

In PP-85, PML-N’s Qadeer Awan won with 21,530 votes (result incomplete) while defeated independent Ihsan Gujjar who got 11,383 votes. In PP-86, PML-N’s Amjad Ali Javed won with 32,309 votes and defeated PTI’s Saeed Akbar who got 18,075 votes.

PML-N’s Ayub Gadhi won in PP-87 seat with 52,991 votes while defeated PTI’s Khawar Sher Gadhi got 35,997 votes. In PP-88, PML-N’s Nazia Raheel won the seat by getting 36,305 votes while defeated independent Ashfa Fatyana got 28,013 votes.

In PP-89, PML-N’s Pir Ali Raza won with 54,384 votes while defeated candidate of PPP, Rana Shafiq, got 18,201 votes. In PP-90, PML-N’s Mian Muhammad Rafiq won got 25,316 votes and defeated PTI’s Saeed Ahmad Saeedi who got 21,088 votes.
