LAHORE - Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) is scheduled to hold ceremonies on Wednesday (today) across the country to commemorate senior journalists who struggled for the freedom of press in Martial Law regime and were lashed on May 13, 1978.
In this connection, a ceremony has been arranged at Aiwan-e-Iqbal Lahore today to pay tributes to Masudullah Khan, Nasir Zaidi, Iqbal Jaffari and Khawar Naeem Hashmi who fought for freedom of press and restoration of democracy in the country.
